What a shame, the risks people take in order to reach freedom! I guess living in Turkey must be difficult. Many foreigners have died trying to to reach my home country of Canada as well. For decades now many stowaways or even crewmembers jump ship in canada and swim the icy waters in order to reach shore and die in the process. In the 50’s.60’s, 70’s many of the dead were Greek sailors or stowaways looking for a better life but never made it. Now people are dying to get to Greece.
