Migration and Struggle in Greece

Greece: immigrant shot near Igoumenitsa

Posted by clandestina on 12 January 2011

An immigrant who was spending the night together with 20 more under a bridge on the highway to Igoumenitsa was shot and injured. The weapon used was an air-gun and the immigrant suffered light injuries in his face.

We remind you that on November 10, 2010, near a gas station on the national road connecting Ioannina and Igoumenitsa, a racist opened fire against a group of 5 immigrants. A 23-years-old Kurd from Iraq was injured in his genitals.
