Agreement signed for the Frontex Offices in Piraeus

Monday 2 August, Athens,
Citizens’ Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis and Ilkka Laitinen, the executive director of Frontex, the European Union agency for external border security, signed an agreement to set up an operational office in Piraeus for Frontex. The official opening of the operational office is scheduled for October 1st, 2010.
